Thanks Hannah! I appreciate you giving it some thought. The older I get, the more I wrestle with the propensity to become more staunch in my opinions. My prayer is the God brings to mind how fickle and small my ideas really are. There is a pride in certainty that I’m trying to balance. Having conviction and being open-minded is tricky. If I was in that crowd 2000 years ago, I’d more than likely be advocating the release of an insurrectionist. I think it’s important to remember.
Absolutely. “Having conviction and being open minded is tricky.” Phew. Ain’t that the truth. Similar to what I keep finding myself stuck between in using the brains God gave me but not leaning on my own understanding. Tricky indeed.
